Paul formed MediaLine Communications with the belief that clients can be better served by aggressive media placement programs not bogged down by lofty PR Agency fees and impersonal service.
As Vice President of a Santa Monica-based media relations firm for seven years, and as President of MediaLine Communications since 1996, Paul has designed and implemented successful regional, national and global media placement, executive communications counsel and public exposure programs for a wide variety of health care, medical device, and non-profit businesses and organizations. He has also provided expert PR counsel to a long list of entertainers, athletes, authors, clinicians, thought leaders and influencers.
One major strength that enables Paul to communicate successfully with the media and his clients’ constituents is his training as a journalist, beginning with a dual Bachelor’s degree in writing and communications from the University of California, San Diego. Having worked for newspapers and talk radio, Paul is able to interface with editors, reporters and show producers on a level they appreciate and in a language they understand.
Paul and his MediaLine associates maintain close relationships with media and are able to place features in strategically selected forums that reach the publics most important to clients. MediaLine also keeps regular contact with health, fitness, sports, entertainment, science, business and human interest reporters at mainstream and specialty media on a regional, national and international level. Bringing complex stories to target publics via mainstream and online media is a specialty.
